“Everyone Had to Do With It, Either Through Family or Some Other Means”: Testimonies of Ukrainian Witnesses About the Holocaust in Volhynia

A new post on the EHRI Document Blog explores current historiographical trends in Holocaust research in Ukraine and analyses the testimonies of residents of the Volyn historical and cultural region from the Voices project. Through microhistorical case studies, the post draws new conclusions about the Holocaust in the region and the causes and nature of ethnic violence in Volhynia during the war.
