The Masaryk Institute and Archives of the CAS makes studying in the library and archives available to the general research public, including students and PhD students, who can also take advantage of the scholarship and internship programmes.

Open Science

The Open Science programme is designed for secondary school students, where they can try their hand at working on a specific research topic.

Josef Dobrovsky Fellowship

The Josef Dobrovsky Fellowship is open to foreign researchers (usually under 35 years of age) interested in researching Czech history and other realities. It is a short-term fellowship awarded by the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic.

The application for the Josef Dobrovský Fellowship is submitted by the Director of the MIA of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic after discussion in the Institute's Board and with its recommendation. The Institute accepts applications by 31 January and 31 July each year.
