The EHRI Geospatial Repository launched

Do you need to create a map of ghettos or concentration camps for your research project? Analyze information about the Holocaust through geospatial data? Share your datasets with others?

In June 2023, EHRI (European Holocaust Research Infrastructure) launched the EHRI Geospatial Repository with aim to help with such challenges.

The repository provides researchers and organisations with the means to store and share geospatial data in a standards-compliant manner, to search and explore datasets based on their metadata, and to use them further for mapping or spatial analysis. The repository is currently populated with the first set of sample data. If you are interested in using it or would like to contribute your own datasets, please head to https://geodata.ehri-project.eu/.

If you have any questions, please read the documentation or contact us by email at geodata@ehri-project.eu.

The georepository was created within the EHRI-3 project, which includes the Masaryk Institute and Archives of the CAS.
