New post on the EHRI Document Blog: Left Behind – A Project Opening up Little Known Holocaust Histories as Well as New Tools
The post is part of the EHRI Document Blog series “Holocaust Geographies” and looks at the history of those Jewish men from Antwerp who were transported for forced labour by Organisation Todt to Northern France. It also gives insight into the Left Behind project by explaining the creation of a database and datasets, the importance of microhistories and how the mapping of data related to time and location also has an increasing impact on and contributes to in depth academic analysis.
