Czechoslovak Exile 1939–1945
The theme of the Czechoslovak exile in 1939–1945 covers a number of levels - political exile, military exile, Jewish issues, diplomatic negotiations, state-law issues, propaganda, elite issues, etc. The focus of research at the Masaryk Institute and the Archives of the CAS has so far been on the Czechoslovak political exile in London, especially the circle around the exiled president Edvard Beneš, including the perspective of everyday history and the analysis of exile structures.
